Prayer to theft: FCT police investigate theft of official vehicle from NSA during prayers

The disappearance of a black Toyota Hilux belonging to Nuhu Ribadu, the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), has prompted the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command to launch a comprehensive inquiry.

According to reports, the vehicle was taken on Friday in Abuja when an ONSA officer was at Juma’at prayers.

Insiders said the car was parked in Area 10, right across from the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) compound, at approximately 1:05 p.m.

The official had gotten out of the vehicle to attend prayers at a mosque in the area. However, when he got back, he couldn’t find the car.

According to security source Zagazola Makama, who shared the event on his X (formerly Twitter) page, the ONSA official returned from the mosque to discover the car was gone.
