The thuggery accusations against President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, have been described as “concerning” by Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate.

According to reports, Atiku Abubakar Isah, the divisive president of the NANS, recently accused Seyi Tinubu of kidnapping and torturing him because he refused to accept an alleged bribe.

Atiku further claimed that Tinubu’s son used goons to scatter the audience in an attempt to sabotage the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) NANS leadership inauguration.

Reacting to the incident, Peter Obi in a statement said the “troubling” allegations, if true, “raises critical questions about the independence of student leadership and the subtle erosion of young voices in our democracy.
