Sad news: A Nigerian police escort passed away on the Kaduna-Abuja train route.
Tragedy unfolded on an Abuja-bound train when one of the police escorts lost his life during the journey on Thursday morning.
A witness recounted that the officer seemed fine when the train departed from Kaduna. However, he later complained of chest pain and sought assistance before passing away.
Unfortunately, there was no medical help available on the train. Despite efforts from a doctor among the passengers, the officer couldn’t be saved.
After his passing, his body was moved aside, and his face was covered while passengers discussed the somber event.
Upon reaching Kubwa in Abuja, passengers disembarked, and security personnel at the station prevented recordings of the incident.
Shortly after, a police van arrived to transport the officer’s remains to a mortuary.
