Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has taken decisive action regarding the International Conference Centre (ICC), ordering its closure for eight months due to neglect. Expressing frustration over its condition, Wike questioned why maintenance was entrusted to an inadequate firm. He highlighted past embarrassments caused by power failures and poor facilities during international events. Wike promptly awarded a renovation contract to Julius Berger, aiming to restore the ICC to its former glory.
