Akpabio – I see Tinubu getting 99.9% votes in 2027.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Saturday, expressed hope that President Bola Tinubu would sweep the votes in the 2027 presidential election.
Akpabio stated that Tinubu would secure 99.9 per cent of the presidential votes in 2027.
He spoke in Uyo during the grand reception to officially welcome Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State into the All Progressives Congress, APC.
A few weeks ago, Governor Eno had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to APC.
The governor had cited the lingering leadership crisis in PDP as the reason for his defection to APC.
However, the Senate President assured Governor Eno that he would be the first re-elected governor in 2027.
According to Akpabio, “I see you struggled a bit particularly to become the governor, but with my presence here today and all my people, Your Excellency, things have turned around.
“I see you becoming the first re-elected governor in 2027. So, for you, I can see everything turning around for your good and that of APC.
“I see everything turning around for Umo Eno and Tinubu in 2027.”
