Bancroft’s School mourned the loss of 14-year-old British-Nigerian student Daniel Anjorin, who tragically passed away following a sword attack in London.
The United Kingdom Metropolitan Police provided details about the incident, stating that the teenager was attacked by a man wielding what appeared to be a Samurai-type sword while walking to school in Hainault, located in the east of Britain’s capital.
Authorities disclosed that a 36-year-old suspect, who remained unnamed as of Wednesday, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was in police custody.
In a statement on their website, Bancroft’s School expressed deep sorrow over Anjorin’s death, describing him as a dedicated scholar with a positive and gentle character.
