President Bola Tinubu left Abuja to travel to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, to witness Rashidi Ladoja, the next Olubadan of Ibadan land, being crowned.
The President departed Friday at around 12:45 p.m. from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Tinubu will accompany other dignitaries to Ibadan to see the monarch’s last installation at the venerable Mapo Hall.
The former governor of Oyo State emerged as the 44th Olubadan following the demise of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
Since his inauguration on May 29, 2023, the president will be travelling to Ibadan and the state for the first time.

The last time Bola Tinubu was in Ibadan was in February 2023 for his presidential campaign.
