Regina Daniels, a Nollywood actress, wrote a heartbreaking tweet saying, “I give up,” and broke down in tears in a new video, expressing frustration and sorrow about continuous family difficulties.
The actress claimed to be having emotional and mental difficulties in the video that she posted on her Instagram Story early on Friday.
“I made an effort. It doesn’t make sense, and I feel like I’m going mad. In the heartfelt video, Daniels remarked, “I’m really crying in front of everybody.”
The actress, who had earlier celebrated her parents’ reconciliation on Thursday, revealed that her happiness was the only reason her once-estranged parents got back together.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
Regina Daniels added that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for days.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she stated.
In the now viral video, the actress amid tears, expressed her frustration and hinted at returning to her husband.
“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.
This emotional outburst follows just weeks after after Regina Daniels revealed that she was experiencing domestic violence in her marriage.
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing,” she said in a widely shared video on October 18 while sobbing and surrounded by family and aides. However, I am a queen in my home. Not once again. The violence is too much for me to handle.
However, Ned Nwoko refuted the accusations, saying his wife needed treatment and that her outburst was caused by “drug and alcohol abuse.”
Regina further added, “I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she declared, adding that her family never approved of her marriage.
