Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has urged residents of Zamfara State to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to help address the state’s growing security and economic challenges.

Speaking to ADC supporters in Gusau on Sunday, Malam Nasir El-Rufai emphasized that the party is committed to improving security, boosting the economy, and strengthening food production in Zamfara.
He called for unity among party members, warning against internal sabotage, and encouraged collaboration with youth and women’s groups to enhance grassroots awareness of the ADC’s vision. Malam Nasir El-Rufai also advised eligible voters to secure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The ADC’s Deputy National Organising Secretary, Abubakar Atiku, said the visit of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai would strengthen the party’s efforts to maintain stability and cooperation among its members in the state.
State ADC Chairman, Alhaji Kabiru Garba, added that participants at the event included youths and women from all 14 local government areas of Zamfara, emphasizing that the party continues to grow and attract new members.
The event drew local politicians, Islamic scholars and other community stakeholders.
