Heavy criticism is currently trailing BBNaija S10 winner Imisi over the accusations levelled against her mother while in the reality TV house.
Recall that Imisi had claimed her mother threw her to the street at age 12 which eventually led to her abuse sexually.
However, in recent developments, the mother of the reality TV star has clearly refuted those claims. In a widely circulated video, the mother claimed that she never threw her daughter out to the streets, adding that she also took care of both Imisi and the baby after delivery. She explained that while the reality star grew up with her grandmother, who had requested that she come and stay with her.
Even while Imisi was with her grandma, the old woman said, she would visit her often and never leave her by herself.
More recently, Imisi’s mother said that although her relationship with Imisi’s father deteriorated, she never left her kids behind; instead, Imisi’s father took them away from her.
She insisted that at the age of twelve, no one had ever ordered her out of the house and that her daughter had never been violated. She urged Imisi to speak up with proof if her claims were true.
The aggrieved mother explained that although her daughter had given her N50,000 and N150,000, she had never begged for money. She emphasised that she is not begging her for money as she displayed the goods she is selling.

Meanwhile, an alleged neigbhour of the reality star’s mother has also publicly countered her claims about her daughter not taking care of her.
A fresh video surfaced online showing a woman in a hijab speaking about Imisi and her mother.
The woman who claims to be the reality star’s and her mother’s neighbour stated that Imisi came to stay with her after her mother sent her out of the house. She continued by saying that she and her husband had long been in charge of the reality star’s welfare.
The woman also asserted in the video that Imisi’s mother has ten children for four different husbands. She said that she didn’t see the reality star for four years prior to her participation in the reality show and that the woman is currently seeing a fifth man.
She further claimed that the mother could go two or three years without seeing her children and would still lay curses on them whenever she did.
Additionally, she stated that the reality TV star’s mother did not want the progress of her children.
The development comes only few weeks after the reality TV star emerged winner of the show, with a grand prize of N150,000,000.
This fresh trail of controversy has sparked reactions across social media. While fans have defended the mother with some allegedly cursing her, other shave raised a question to her personality while in the house, wondering if all she had said about her family were lies just to gain public sympathy and votes.
