The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has boldly released graphic images and chats of the deceased brigadier general Musa Uba, in Al-Naba, the group’s Arabic language newspaper.
After an ambush on a convoy of military and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) personnel in Borno state on November 18, Uba was slain by ISWAP terrorists.

Last Friday, while the troops were transporting military equipment along Damboa Road in Borno, they were ambushed by militants.
Censored photos of the brigadier general’s lifeless body with a bullet hole on his leg and blood near his head were included on the cover of the newspaper that FIJ was able to view.

Additionally, screenshots of his WhatsApp chats were posted.
According to reports, the article was published in Al-Naba’s Issue 522, which was published on Thursday.
The eight-page edition features recent violent attacks by ISWAP and other Islamic State affiliates worldwide.
