Adekunle Gold crowns Simi Nigeria’s “unmatched” songwriter in emotional praise

Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has hailed his wife, Simi, as the finest songwriter in Nigeria’s music industry.

Speaking during a recent interview with Angela Yee, Adekunle Gold said no songwriter he has worked with or encountered compares to Simi’s creativity and talent.

According to him, Simi has the rare ability to create multiple songs from a single beat, describing her skill as exceptional and one of a kind.

“Nobody writes songs like Simi,” Adekunle Gold said, revealing that she once created about 10 different songs from the same beat. He added that even her hit song ‘Duduke’ had about three different versions before the final release.
