The Taminu Turaki–led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has formally issued expulsion certificates to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and other members recently removed from the party.

Turaki announced this on Tuesday while speaking with journalists at the PDP national secretariat in Abuja.
It will be recalled that the party had unanimously expelled Wike and former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose over alleged anti-party activities.
It also expelled the National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, and eight others, and dissolved party structures in Imo, Abia, Enugu, Akwa Ibom and Rivers states.
The chieftains were expelled for anti-party activities and fostering disunity with a series of litigation against the interests of the party.
Turaki said their certificates of expulsion had been sent to them via courier services.
