Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday welcomed popular American internet personality and streamer, Kai Cenat, to the Lagos House, Marina.

The visit was confirmed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, in a post shared on X.
Gawat noted that Cenat, who is visiting Lagos for the second time, paid a courtesy call to the governor and shared his experiences and impressions of the state during the meeting.
Sanwo-Olu noted that the globally recognised streamer is in Lagos to advance discussions around projects and initiatives he intends to implement for children and young people in Lagos State.

Kai Cenat is among the most influential streamers worldwide, with a massive following on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where his content attracts millions of viewers, particularly within the youth demographic.
Details of Cenat’s schedule and specific engagements during his stay were not disclosed by state officials.
The visit comes shortly after another American streamer, IShowSpeed, toured Lagos, an appearance that generated significant public interest and widespread engagement across social media platforms.
