Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has reported that multiple United States military aircraft were involved in crashes within the country on Monday.
The announcement was made via a post on X by the Kuwait News Agency, citing the Defence Ministry’s statement.
The ministry confirmed that all crew members survived the incidents, and Kuwaiti authorities are actively providing support for rescue and response efforts.
“Ministry of Defense announces that several #US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day, confirming that all crew members survived the incident,” the post stated.
The exact number of aircraft involved and the cause of the crashes were not immediately disclosed.
The incident comes a day after Iran reportedly struck a US military base in Kuwait in retaliation for joint airstrikes carried out by Israel and the United States on Iranian targets.
Other countries said to have been affected by Iranian missile attacks targeting US bases and facilities in the region include Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
