Tinubu held a high-level bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday with the goal of fortifying Nigeria-Britain relations.
A £746 million finance arrangement including UK Export Finance, the Nigerian Ports Authority, and the Federal Ministry of Finance was one of several memoranda of understanding that were inked.
In an effort to improve migration control and bilateral collaboration, a new deal was also inked with the UK to ease the return of convicted criminals, visa overstayers, and unsuccessful Nigerian asylum claimants.
