US President Donald Trump has warned Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or risk “hell reigning down” on the Arabian nation.
Trump’s remarks, which appeared in a Truth Social post on Saturday, are a continuation of his threats against Iran regarding the waterway’s closing from last month.
“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!” the US president wrote.

Tehran announced earlier in March that everyone will have access to the strait, which is one of the busiest oil shipping routes in the world, with the exception of the United States and its allies.
On March 22, Trump said he would “hit and obliterate” Iranian power plants – “starting with the biggest one first” – if the strait was not fully reopened within 48 hours.
In reaction, Iran threatened that it would completely close the Strait of Hormuz if Trump carried out his threats.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) added that if Iranian energy infrastructure were targeted, US-owned enterprises and the “power plants of regional countries hosting US bases” would be “completely destroyed.”
Trump announced that the US would delay the strikes for five days a day following Iran’s stance.
The US president’s fresh threats come days after he said the Strait of Hormuz would open “naturally” after the conflict ends.

Entire region will turn into hell if attacks continue- Iran
Following Trump’s fresh ultimatum, the Iranian military has warned the United States and Israel that the “entire region will turn into hell’ if the ongoing war escalates further.
According to Al Jazeera, a spokesperson for the Iranian military’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarter said on Saturday that the illusion of defeating Iran has “turned into a swamp” that will “sink” the US and Israel.
