Iran has responded to president Trump’s order of US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, threatening that it will attack any US military vessel that approaches the Strait.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), on Sunday, warned that military vessels that come towards the strategic waterway would be considered as violating the two-week ceasefire.

Reuters reports that the IRGC will not hesitate to attack harshly and decisively if it spots any such vessel.
The IRGC further declared the Strait to be under the ‘smart management’ of the country’s Navy

Meanwhile, after 21 hours of negotiations in Islamabad on Saturday failed to yield the intended result for President Trump, tensions between the US and Iran seem to be increasing.
There was contention over control of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s intention to continue to produce nuclear materials for civilian use.

The United States demands that the Islamic republic give up its highly enriched uranium and cease all uranium enrichment. Iran intends to keep enriching uranium to a low level for civilian use.
This comes as Trump instructed the United States Navy to begin a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as negotiations with with Iran fails.
