The Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has formally unveiled its House of Representatives aspirants ahead of the upcoming National Assembly elections.
In a statement, the party described the unveiling as a clear sign of its preparedness for the 2027 general elections, noting that the list includes experienced politicians, emerging leaders, and loyal party members drawn from various federal constituencies across the state.
The PDP further stated that the aspirants reflect its growing internal strength and unity, while reaffirming its commitment to fielding credible candidates who can deliver effective representation at the National Assembly.
Among the aspirants listed are Dr. Shior Emmanuel, Hon. Iortyom Simon, Hon. Tikaa Desmond, Dr. Kester Kyenge, Hon. Sunday Emmanuel Udeh, Hon. Godwin Joseph, Hon. Engr. Orje Torhee, Hon. Adejo Adejo, Hon. Desire Oche Adaji, Hon. Adoyi Isaac, Hon. Ikyaator Vaachia, Hon. Aida Nath, Barr.
Uke Seer Adeiyongo, Hon. Ikyaagba Dominic, Hon. Ukaa Emmanuel, Moses Mkeenem, Gen. Ode Ede Gabriel (Rtd), Innocent Adega, Dexta Ngbede, and Hon. Mrs. Makama-Iver Ana Abigail.
The party reiterated its pledge to conduct a transparent, free, and fair selection process that will produce candidates focused on advancing the interests of the people.
It also urged party members, stakeholders, and the public to support the process in the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and collective progress.
