Afrobeats singer Romeeyo has revealed that his mother’s struggles and sacrifices played a major role in shaping his music career and inspiring his rise in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The fast-rising artiste, born Daniel Oluwatobi Aderibole, made this known while speaking about the inspiration behind his debut project and his passion for emotionally driven music.
According to him, witnessing his mother go through difficult times while making sacrifices for the family motivated him to pursue success and strive to make her proud.
“My mother’s struggles inspired me. This is for every woman who sacrificed everything for her children,” Romeeyo said.
Romeeyo explained that his music is rooted in gratitude, love, and appreciation for mothers who continue to support their children despite economic challenges and personal hardships.
Romeeyo further noted that many young people often overlook the sacrifices their mothers make, adding that he hopes his message will encourage greater appreciation for parents, especially mothers.
He also stated that his goal goes beyond entertainment, as he aims to create music that emotionally connects with listeners and reflects real-life experiences and stories.
