Fire Engulfs Christ Embassy Church Headquarters in Lagos.
The headquarters of the Christ Embassy Church, situated in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, caught fire on Sunday morning. Videos from the scene, shared by various sources, including Intel Region, show the intensity of the blaze.
A video posted by Augustine, tweeting as Chief_Augustin1 on X.com, captures the church on Billings Way, Oregun, engulfed in flames. Augustine wrote, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire. Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it off. Thank God service hasn’t commenced fully.”
Officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are on-site, battling to control the fire and prevent further damage. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but efforts are ongoing to investigate and manage the situation.
Notably, this is not the first time the Christ Embassy Church headquarters has faced such a disaster. The property was previously gutted by fire on March 18, 2014.
