African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatudeen, has participated in the party’s ongoing presidential primary election.
Hayatudeen is contesting the party’s ticket alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
In a post on his X handle on Monday, he said he cast his vote in Jare, Borno State, during the primary exercise.
He stated that his ambition is driven by the need to present Nigerians with a fresh direction capable of defeating the incumbent president in the next election.

“Nigeria is at a crossroads, and so is the ADC.
“I am running because, to defeat the president next year, we must offer Nigerians a new direction.
“I am ready to lead our party and our country toward a safer and more prosperous future for all Nigerians,” he wrote.
