Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has refuted claims that she has reunited with her ex-husband, music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories on Monday, the actress clarified that the circulating clips sparking the reconciliation rumors were old and misleading.
Taking to her Instagram story, Annie Idibia wrote, “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere.”
Speculation regarding the 2baba reunion flared up on Friday, July 17, after archival footage showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub resurfaced online.
The video instantly went viral online, fuelling widespread suspicion that the couple had restarted their love.
However, Annie’s remark appears to have put the speculations to rest, confirming that the circulating clip was not current.

The claims quickly generated mixed reactions online, as fans and observers continue to follow the highly publicised events surrounding the Idibia family.
Posts circulating on Instagram and X claimed that 2Baba was recently admitted to a rehabilitation centre, where he was allegedly shown archival footage, including the video of his public announcement about his separation from Annie Idibia.
According to the claims, the singer allegedly could not remember making the announcement. The posts further claim that friends later reunited him with his children in Lagos and that he is now in good health. However, none of these allegations has been independently confirmed.
