Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed optimism that the Accord Party will emerge victorious in the August 15 governorship election, stating that residents of the state have embraced his administration’s approach to governance.
Adeleke made the statement in a post shared on his official social media page on Monday, where he appreciated Osun residents for what he described as strong support for his campaign.

“I appreciate the overwhelming love and support the people of Osun State continue to show our campaign. I do not take your trust for granted,” Adeleke stated.
The governor also criticised previous administrations in the state, accusing them of using poverty as a political strategy rather than introducing policies aimed at improving the lives of residents.
“For too long, our people endured leaders who weaponised poverty instead of empowering the people. Today, Osun is witnessing the difference that purposeful, people-centred governance can make,” he said.
Adeleke maintained that residents had seen the impact of his administration and urged them to support the continuation of what he described as progress in the state.
“There is no turning back. Together, we will keep moving Osun forward. I’m confident ACCORD will win August 15,” he added.
The governor further encouraged his supporters to mobilise voters ahead of the election, urging them to spread the message that his campaign remains strong.
“Tell your neighbours: No shaking, Imole is coming back,” Adeleke said.
