Mourinho targets ex-Man Utd star for Fenerbahce
Jose Mourinho, newly appointed manager of Fenerbahce, is keen to recruit Sofyan Amrabat, the Moroccan midfielder who had a stint at Manchester United. Despite a mixed performance during his loan at Old Trafford, Mourinho sees Amrabat as a key addition to bolster Fenerbahce’s midfield.
Mourinho has already made significant moves in the transfer market, with Fenerbahce signing eight new players this summer. Amrabat, who impressed during his time with Fiorentina and Manchester United, is seen as a crucial asset for the Turkish club as they aim for both domestic and European success.
However, Fenerbahce will need to negotiate with Fiorentina, who are expected to demand a high fee for Amrabat. Manchester United also remains interested in re-signing him if their pursuit of PSG’s Manuel Ugarte falls through.
