Kwankwaso Declares 2027 Presidential Victory: NNPP’s Road to Power”
Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), boldly declared his intention to win the 2027 presidential election during the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina. Kwankwaso, who was the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, made it clear that the NNPP is prepared to take over the presidency, states, and other significant positions across the country in the upcoming elections.
During his address, Kwankwaso emphasized that the NNPP is on a path to success, positioning itself as a formidable force in Nigerian politics. He took a moment to criticize the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declaring it “dead” and attributing the party’s decline to its deviation from its original principles, which prompted him and others to leave.
Kwankwaso called on Nigerians, particularly women and youths, to remain vigilant and not be swayed by superficial incentives such as money or food during the elections. He urged the party’s leaders to intensify their efforts and commitment towards ensuring the NNPP’s success at both state and national levels.
In addition to his political declarations, Kwankwaso made a humanitarian gesture by pledging support for a young boy named Abubakar Ibrahim from the Yammawa area, who is suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
The NNPP state Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, also spoke at the event, highlighting the party’s efforts to educate the electorate about the new party logo, which symbolizes “education for all,” a key focus area of the Kwankwasiyya movement.
The inauguration of the renovated state secretariat was seen as a significant step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, further underscoring Kwankwaso’s confidence in the NNPP’s ability to reshape the political landscape in Nigeria.
