Reality TV star Alex Unusual is raising eyebrows about the Lagos State government’s recent move to arrest homeless people across the city.
In an Instagram Story, Alex expressed confusion and concern over the policy, asking:“Can someone please educate me on why Lagos State is arresting homeless people?”
The former BBNaija housemate didn’t hold back, sharing how the news had already ruined her day:
“What is the crime? Not having a house?”
She pointed out the irony of arresting people for simply having nowhere to stay, while others with homes still contribute to environmental mess by littering public spaces.“Even people with houses litter the environment. I see people throwing stuff from cars.”
She ended with a stark question:
“Why are homeless people sleeping in corners being arrested?”
Her post has since sparked discussions online, with many Nigerians echoing her sentiments and questioning the human cost of such enforcement police
