Alleged Fake Agency: Isaac Fayose Calls for Probe of Femi Gbajabiamila

Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ayodele Fayose, has called for an investigation into the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, over bribery allegations.

In a video shared on X, Isaac Fayose questioned how an individual could allegedly establish a government-linked parastatal and collect money in the name of the government without official approval or oversight.

He also criticized the silence of anti-corruption and security agencies, expressing concern over the lack of immediate action on the matter.

The controversy follows allegations made by Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claimed that Gbajabiamila received ₦400 million through a proxy and requested an additional ₦200 million to facilitate his appointment as Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

However, the Presidency has denied the claims, maintaining that Gbajabiamila neither issues appointment letters nor has the authority to create government positions.

Reacting to the allegations, Fayose insisted that the matter should not be ignored, arguing that the response from the Presidency was insufficient and raising concerns over what he described as troubling practices within the system.
