The All Progressives Congress(APC), has won the AMAC chairmanship election at polling units in Piwoyi Primary School II, Gwarinpa ward, and currently leading in Nyanya .
Reports reveal that APC won the chairmanship poll in the polling unit with 80 votes. ADC scored six votes while PDP got two votes.

The total valid votes stood at 93 as the results were read in front of everyone present.
The All Progressives Congress, is in the lead in the FCT Area Council election, according to preliminary results from Nyanya.

According to preliminary data from Polling Unit 016, the APC received 13 votes in the chairmanship race in Nyanya Ward, which is part of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC. This was ahead of the PDP (1), SDP (2), ADC (5), and APGA (1).

The APC received eleven votes, the PDP one, the SDP zero, the ADC four, and the APGA one for councillorship in the same unit. Only 22 of the 754 registered voters have accreditation.
