Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, born Sarah Aderibigbe, has shared insights into her spirituality and personal beliefs.
Speaking during a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, the singer said her spiritual aspiration is to be “as perfect as Jesus.”
She added that while she does not consider herself deeply religious, she remains strongly committed to her spiritual journey.
“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she expressed.
Ayra Starr emphasised that being spiritual and less religious is what works for her in the meantime, but added that it might change later.
The music star also disclosed during the interview that she is venturing into the movie industry.
Ayra Starr shared that she began her acting career last year and her debut movie is expected to be released this year.
