“Na Only Internet Your Power Dey”- Burna Boy Mocks, Berates Wizkid

FPopular singer Damini Ogulu widely known as Burna Boy publicly challenged Wizkid to a physical altercation on Tuesday, escalating tensions between the two giants of Nigerian music.

The conflict began on Monday night at a nightclub in Lagos, where Burna Boy and his group allegedly attacked Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez following a disagreement about song choice.

Meanwhile, Wizkid had earlier criticised Burna Boy and his ten-person team on social media over the alleged attack.

In a viral video, Burna Boy dismissed Wizkid’s online reactions as weak, claiming the singer’s strength is only limited to social media.

Speaking in Pidgin, he said: “Wizkid come go dey tweet. Na internet their own power dey. We na real life our own power dey. I thought DJ Tunez go call his oga, and his oga go do something or send people but na tweet Wizkid con dey tweet.”

The singer refuted allegations that his squad had acted collaboratively by stating that he was the only one responsible for assaulting DJ Tunez.
