BBNaija 2019 winner Mercy Eke revealed she has over N100M in Heritage Bank following the CBN’s revocation of the bank’s operating license. CBN’s decision came due to the bank’s financial instability, leading to its liquidation by NDIC. On social media, Mercy expressed her frustration, noting the bank’s offer to return only N5M of her funds. She criticized her account manager for encouraging her to fix her money despite known issues with the bank. Eke’s association with Heritage Bank began during BBNaija, which the bank sponsored, prompting her to open an account. She now regrets the decision and is seeking a resolution.
