Blord disclosed this in a now-viral post on his Instagram page, revealing that he has officially trademarked “Ratel” as his business brand name.
In a public statement shared via his Instagram story, Blord stated that VeryDarkMan is only permitted to use the name with his explicit approval.
He wrote, “I have directed my SAN to issue a cease and desist to VDM to stop using my brand name ‘Ratel’. He will have to get an approval from me henceforth before using that name Ratel.”

The development has continued to spark mixed reactions on social media.
It was reported that this came amid the ongoing fight between the two celebrities on social media.
Their fight began in October 2025 after VeryDarkMan, a popular social media critic, visited China to help some Nigerian business owners get cheap goods and supplier contacts.
While in China, VeryDarkMan accused Blord of business fraud and overpricing of modified gadgets. The fight escalated when he allegedly petitioned the police to investigate Blord business practice.
Ratel is the recognised name that VeryDarkMan gave to his loyal supporters online.
