Donald J. Trump has won the 2024 US election with 270 electoral votes. He floored the current vice president and democratic rival, Kamala Harris with 277 electoral votes to Kamala’s 224.
Trump who was the 45th president is now the 47th president of the United States of America as well as the second oldest nominee in history after Joe Biden.
Congratulations have started pouring in from different leaders around the world on social media.
Israeli’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on X (formerly Twitter) – “Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback!”. He further added, “Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America.”
French President, Emmanuel Macron equally wrote on X: “Ready to work together as we were able to do during four years. With your convictions and mine. In respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”
Elon Musk, the tech billionaire who has always been vocal about his support for Trump posted a picture of himself with the Republican at Mar-a-Lago.
“Game, set, and match,” Musk said on X (formerly Twitter).
