Bank official reveals in court: Adebutu sought 200,000 prepaid cards.
Zenith Bank staff Celestina Appeal revealed in court how Mr. Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP’s governorship candidate in Ogun State, applied for 200,000 prepaid cards on February 27, 2023.
At the hearing, Ms. Appeal, the Head of Department of Card Services, testified that Adebutu requested the cards for his empowerment scheme in memory of his late mother.
The cards were produced and delivered to Adebutu between March 7 and 13, 2023

The prosecution defended that private documents don’t need certification. The trial was adjourned till Wednesday, March 20, 2024, for further proceedings and ruling.
