Celebrities Shade Wizkid Amid Davido’s Wedding
Popular Nigerian celebrities, including Cubana Chief Priest, blogger Tunde Ednut, and comedian Basketmouth, have taken to social media to criticize singer Wizkid as Davido prepares to marry Chioma Rowland today.
The reactions come after Wizkid, known for his hit “Essence,” posted a cryptic message ahead of the Chivido24 wedding, scheduled for June 25th, 2024, at Eko Hotel and Suites. The event has been labeled as a gathering of billionaires.
Davido recently shared the official wedding video on Instagram, prompting Tunde Ednut to shade Wizkid by calling Davido the “real star boy.” Ednut’s comment generated significant reactions.
Cubana Chief Priest also threw shade at Wizkid and other singers by posting a video of his expensive wristwatch, challenging their friends to match his success.
