Chukwuma Soludo retains victory, clears all 21 LGs in Anambra polls
The Independent National Electoral Commission has resumed the collation of results for the Anambra State governorship election after embarking on a short break.

Prof. Edogah Omoregie, the State Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, had previously declared the exercise’s postponement.
Recall that 19 LGA’s had previously been announced with Anambra Governor, Chukwuma Soludo leading in all 19, leaving just Anambra West and Ihiala

Following the resumption, results from Anambra West and Ihiala Local Government Areas were announced by the presiding officers, with the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate(APGA), Chukwuma Soludo still maintaining the victory.
Although INEC is yet to put out the official announcement declaring Soludo as the winner of the just concluded elections, results from all 21 LGA’s have revealed him to be the winner.
