The FCT police command has completed the arrest of Abubakar Idris (AKA Nishi), Buhari Saidu, and Musa Ahmadu Suleiman for the murder of Ibrahim Danfulani.
SP Josephine Adeh, FCT Police Command spokesperson, disclosed in a statement regarding the incident that resulted in the murder of Ibrahim Danfulani. She said Nishi was in murder rage upon learning about Danfulani’s intentions to marry a lady in which Nishi had invested in financially.
The PPRO also added that Nishi and his cohorts attacked Danfulani and murdered him without remorse. They also took about 18 cows belonging to Danfulani to compensate Nishi for the financial investments he had made on the lady.
Adeh said, ”In a dramatic turn of events, Nishi, who had fled the scene of the crime, was trailed and arrested in Nasarawa State. He was caught while planning on recruiting new gang members to execute his sinister plot to return and kill the woman. The swift and coordinated efforts of the FCT Police Command, in collaboration with residents of the Agaita community in Karu, led to the successful arrest of all suspects, who are now in police custody and will face prosecution to ensure justice is served.”
She further added that the FCT Police Command is still committed to protecting lives and property in the state.
