India narocts arrests Nigerian drug peddler after one-year manhunt
A 30-year-old Nigerian drug dealer by the name of Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna alias Kaleshi was arrested by the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau of India. According to Times of India report published on April 28, 2025, the suspect had evaded police arrest for more than a year.

This month two of his Nigerian accomplices, Ugwu Ikechukwu alias Emma and Chukwu Ogbonna alias Big Joe (the ones depicted) were arrested.
His travel itinerary, flight tickets, bank documentation, and some documents related to drugs were found with him. During the investigation, Kaleshi confessed that he came to Hyderabad in September of 2022 to assist drug deal-er Divine Ebuka Suzee and his brother Uche Happiness in their illegal business in the city.

His work was to collect consignments from Joana Gomes, who would smuggle drugs from New Delhi and deliver them to the peddler “Instructed by Ebuka,” Kaleshi came from Bengaluru to deliver drugs to a customer near Taramati Baradari.
He was caught by the police after he was spotted waiting for customers.
The police recovered a pen drive that contained PDFs of visas, travel itinerary, and other travel-related documents. One document particularly detailed a list of 411 African nationals, who have collectively contributed Rs 9.42 crore towards this illegal business.

It also contained over 138 pictures of drugs, bank details, and WhatsApp chats.
