David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has responded to Rabi’u Musa Kwamkwaso and Peter Obi’s defection.
Speaking to members of the Forum of ADC Former and Current Federal Lawmakers on Wednesday in Abuja, Mark stated that the party would have to work harder as a result of the two’s departure.
The Benue-born lawmaker acknowledged the impact of the defections but assured Nigerians that the party would present credible candidates capable of winning the 2027 elections.
The former Senate President further expressed his belief that the party’s struggles would eventually fortify its commitment and help it win the election.
He said, “No doubt, the exit of Obi and Kwankwaso has its impact, but it will spur us to work harder.”
