Content ceator and self-acclaimed prophet Evans Eshun, widely known as Ebo Noah, has been remanded in police custody for two weeks following the adjournment of proceedings at the Adentan Circuit Court.

Before the suspect’s next court appearance, the judge further mandated that he undergo a psychiatric evaluation at Pantang Psychiatric Hospital.

As investigations continue, the evaluation is anticipated to direct subsequent actions.

The psychiatric report was to be submitted prior to the next hearing, and the case was therefore postponed until January 16.

In August 2025, Ebo Noah declared that he had received a vision from God that the world would end on Christmas day, December 25, 2025, as a result of three years of nonstop rain.

The 33-year-old claimed that in anticipation of a devastating three-year deluge, God sent him instructions to construct an ark.

Christians flocked to the ark’s site as Christmas drew near, eager to board it in order to avoid the deluge.

Self Acclaimed prophet, Ebo Noah

Ebo Noah revealed that the ark was roughly 80% finished on December 24, 2025, and he insisted that it would be the only shelter available when the calamity occurred.

But on Christmas Day, when there was no flood, he declared that he had another revelation telling him that the expected flood would not happen and that God had instead told him to construct more arks.

This comes only few days after the self acclaimed prophet acquired a new Mercedes Benz vehicle.

On December 31, 2025, when he was live-streaming online in the Weija-Gbawe neighbourhood of Accra, members of the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team apprehended him in response to the unfulfilled prophecy.

He was arrested on charges of disseminating false information online, and on Friday, January 2, he was arraigned in court.

Ebo Noah was accused by the prosecution of releasing false information, intentionally misleading the public, and engaging in deceptive communication—all of which they claimed violated Ghanaian criminal statutes.
