Singer Simi responds to Brymo and Samklef’s suggestive remarks about her in a recent video.
Renowned Nigerian songstress Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has finally addressed the flirtatious remarks made by her peers Brymo and the producer-turned-blogger Samklef.
Last year, Brymo stirred controversy by admitting that he once requested sexual favors from Simi as a condition for a music collaboration, which she declined, leading to his decision not to work with her.
Similarly, Samklef recently revealed his past affection for Simi during their early days as struggling artists but refrained from pursuing her romantically to avoid mixing business with pleasure.
In a recent interview with Angela Yee, Simi responded by dismissing Brymo and Samklef’s remarks as lacking substance, emphasizing that she couldn’t take them seriously. She found their actions more comedic than serious.
Simi expressed her confusion about their statements, stating, “I don’t know why they keep talking about me like that. When you even look at what they’re saying, you can’t even pick out anything. I’m still confused.”
She further mentioned that her husband, Adekunle Gold, has spoken up for her, defending her honor. Simi asserted that these comments don’t impact her and that she has nothing to hide. She finds the entire situation rather trivial.
