Celebrities are thrilled as singer BNXN and his rival Ruger have reunited and are poised to release a new song together.
Celebration ensues as notable Nigerian singer BNXN and his former rival Ruger share a joint Instagram post today, February 26th, 2024, featuring a new photo of themselves. The duo, formerly known as Buju and Ruger, had trended online in 2022 due to their public disputes.
During the industry beef in 2022, Ruger advised BNXN to pursue solo endeavors like himself instead of relying on collaborations for hit songs.

He also referred to BNXN as “fatty bum bum.” In response, BNXN called Ruger a silly artiste and asserted that he was superior to Ruger and their label, Jonzing World.
Even after BNXN won the Next Rated award at the 15th Headies Award, the beef between him and Ruger persisted. Ruger, the “Bounce” crooner, who had signed a record label deal with Jonzing World in 2021 under D Prince’s leadership, terminated his contract with the label after three years. He then launched his own label called Blown Boy Entertainment.
In the combined post with BNXN, Ruger wrote; “MAYBE ROMEO MUST DIE.”
The post hints at a possible collaboration between the two artistes and fans are left in a highly anticipated state.
