At the just concluded recent Africa  Arts Entertainment AAEA Awards, Nigerian superstars and other African talents  bagged awards in multiple  categories.

Piece of My Heart by Wizkid, featuring Brent Faiyaz, won the Best Afro-R&B song award at the Nairobi-based ceremony.

After achieving success with her popular single “Favourite Girl,” which incorporates a remix by Rema, British-Nigerian singer Darkoo took home the Best Diasporan Act award.

The song ‘MMS’ by Asake and Wizkid took home the Best Afro-Native Song honor. ‘Lungu Boy’, his third album, includes the single.

Street-pop artist Seyi Vibez took home the Best Male Artist honor, while sensational singer Ayra Starr took home the Best Female Artist in West Africa title.

Popular rapper OdumoduBlvckwas bagged the  award for Best Rapper in West Africa.

African giant, Burna Boy who spearheaded the exportation of African music, won the major award as the Best Overall Male Artist of the Year.
