Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, and Ayo Edebiri have been nominated for the 2025 NAACP Awards to be held in California for their outstanding performances.
Once again, Nigeria’s talented musicians have made the nomination news, which showcases their talents and has gone far and wide internationally.
Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have been nominated for the 2025 NAACP Awards. This is the 56th edition of the award event and is scheduled to be held on February 22 at Pasadena Civic Centre, California.
Wizkid has two nomination places for his song ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz, including Outstanding Duo or Collaboration and Outstanding International Song.
“Hmmm” By Chris Brown and Davido bagged a nomination for “Outstanding International Song.”
Burna Boy and Usher were nominated for Best Collaboration for their song ‘Coming Home’. While Tem’s ‘Love Me JeJe’ secured her nomination for the ‘Outstanding International Song’ category for her song ‘Love Me JeJe’.
Actress Ayo Edebiri was nominated in five categories, including Outstanding Voiceover and Outstanding Actress in Comedy Series.
While South African singer Tyla is up for Outstanding New Artist.
