Popular social media personality and singer Speed Darlington has finally regained his freedom after spending two months in Kuje prison.
Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju announced this recent development regarding Darlington through his X account. The caption on his post reads, “Speed Darlington is out of Kuje Prison.”
NaijaEyes recalls that Speed Darlington was granted bail by FCT High Court in December, but the Nigeria Police were still keeping him in detention before arraigning him to court.
Furthermore, Speedy had petitioned DIG Dasuki Galadanchi, the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, Abuja, over the abuse of his fundamental human rights by continuing to detain him after the court had granted him bail.
This whole situation became too hot for the embattled social media personality to handle after he went all guns blazing, accusing Burna Boy of being in an intimate affair with P.Diddy, which led to Burna winning the Grammy Award.
