Homeland Security conducts a raid on Diddy’s residence
The Department of Homeland Security conducted raids on multiple properties owned by the renowned American singer, Sean “Diddy” Combs, on Monday. These raids were conducted in response to several lawsuits alleging physical abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking.
The legal actions stem from accusations made by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie, who sued him for alleged physical and sexual abuses in mid-November. Additionally, three other women have come forward with rape allegations against Diddy.
The DHS released a statement confirming the raids
The DHS released a statement confirming the raids, mentioning that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners, executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation. The statement indicated that further information would be provided as it becomes available.
A law enforcement official, speaking anonymously, confirmed that the searches are part of a sex-trafficking investigation.
