Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has opened up about why she took a break from acting.
Speaking on a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, the actress revealed that she stepped away from Nollywood after an anonymous benefactor began paying her a weekly salary of ₦1 million, noting that she wasn’t making much from acting at the time.
She explained that the generous gesture influenced her decision to pause her acting career.
“Someone anonymously put me on a ₦1 million weekly salary because I wasn’t getting paid enough for movie roles — that’s why I took a break from acting. I can’t shoot a movie and I might not even make up to ₦1 million profit from it,” the actress stated.
