I think I am coming out: Odumeje declares presidential ambition ahead of 2027
Clergy man Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere popularly known as Odùméje, has announced his intention to run for the presidency of Nigeria in 2027.
He made this declaration during a sermon at his church, stressing the need for a young and tech-savvy leader.
The controversial pastor and general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry told his congregation, “We need a young leader in this country, and I think I’m coming out.” He further emphasized, “We need a young leader in this country as a president. A digital leader, not old cargos.”
Known for his unique preaching style and unusual approach to ministry, Odùméje repeatedly engaged his audience, asking, “Are you ready for me? Are you ready for the president?” He further stated, “Because I know what you need. Amen.”
The cleric however did not provide further information on his political party or campaign strategy but declared himself as a leader who understands modern governance. “Can you get a modern life, a digital life?” he asked.
