Diddy accused of assaulting record executive over ex-Kim Porter.
The recent investigation into music mogul Diddy has uncovered disturbing allegations, including an incident where he allegedly assaulted music executive Shakir Stewart over his relationship with Diddy’s ex-partner, Kim Porter. According to reports, during L.A. Reid’s wedding celebration in Italy in the summer of 2000, Diddy went to Stewart’s room and attacked him, breaking a chair over his head and leaving him bleeding on the floor. Stewart’s mother, Portia Stewart, recounted the incident, revealing that her son required stitches and was threatened with death by Diddy.
Tragically, Stewart later took his own life in 2008, while Porter passed away from pneumonia in 2018. Rolling Stone’s extensive investigation into Diddy’s behavior involved interviews with over 50 individuals, shedding light on a pattern of problematic behavior spanning back to his college days at Howard University. Former schoolmates recalled instances of Diddy’s controlling behavior, such as tapping on a classroom window to lure his girlfriend out of class.
Furthermore, Diddy has faced multiple lawsuits and accusations of rape and abuse over the years. Cassie Ventura, a former partner, filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, sex trafficking, and years of abuse. Earlier this month, CNN aired footage from a hotel surveillance camera capturing Diddy physically assaulting Ventura in 2016. Despite apologies from Diddy, the statute of limitations has expired, preventing prosecution for the attack.
In addition, federal agents raided Diddy’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a sex trafficking investigation. Witnesses have been called to testify, indicating the possibility of a federal grand jury indictment in New York City. These revelations have cast a dark shadow over Diddy’s reputation and brought serious legal consequences.
